Inbound Sales Associate

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Ariad Sales Associate, you will be responsible for increasing sales by attracting and acquiring new clients. Our team drives success through daily sales activity, attention to detail, endless learning to grow and improve, and fanatical customer service. We target SMB accounts in the Saas, IT, and Professional Service industries. Communication, sales, organization, and time management skills are critical for success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Increase sales through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new businesses
  • Identify new opportunities for business development, conduct prospecting calls, conduct discovery calls, manage the opportunity through the sales cycle, close the opportunity
  • Identify key decision makers using strategies such as internet research, social media outreach, cold calls, emails, referrals, and prospecting
  • Understand our business offerings, capabilities, benefits and value, and competitive advantages
  • Contribute feedback and ideas for improvement to technologies, processes, or services
  • Keep lead, opportunity, contact, account data, and meeting notes data updated in the CRM and client folders

Skills

  • 2+ years of experience selling or marketing inbound services
  • Experience selling HubSpot is encouraged but not required.
  • Basic+ understanding of the industries we target
  • Positive attitude, sales mindset, and strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated
  • Professional-level English in both speaking and writing
  • Ability to work remotely with an equipped, quiet appropriate home office
  • Professionalism: Comfortable speaking with business executives in a professional manner
  • Ability to write professional emails
  • Type at 70 words/minute
